Cost estimation for rough staking out and detailed staking out

I have been a silent reader here in the forum for quite some time. Two weeks ago, our new single-family house (approx. 170m2) finally started properly, which is why I will soon be more active in the exchange here. So far, everything is progressing well, although I cannot currently assess one invoice or did not expect such an amount. It concerns the rough staking out & fine staking out, which a surveying office did for us, located about 30 km away. There is very little about this topic in the forum so far.

What do you think about the following invoice? Are ~2,000€ now a common amount? Do you need further information about the house to be able to classify these costs?

For me, just the fine staking out was 1500 net. I can't find the invoice for the rough staking out right now, but I think it was 400 EUR (edit: found it - 400, but gross). So in that respect, you're getting off well.

If I remember correctly, there are certain sentences that surveyors must take, as it is a sovereign task. The sentences vary from federal state to federal state.

For us, the price was also around that range.

If it were according to the fee schedule, then billing based on effort (invoiced hourly rates) would not be correct. To my knowledge, the mere marking out is not official, only the later surveying for the [Katasteramt].

Does it have to be billed according to the fee schedule? Where do we end up approximately then?
