But when reading the opening thread, you should be able to recognize that the original poster has different expectations than you and make appropriate suggestions that are more suitable.

But I don't have to read his mind and patronize him. He is at 509 and wants 480. I name adjustment options to him, you do too, ypg, and now we let him choose for himself. This is not a who is right here issue. Karsten

You are right, Karsten! The [TE] should take the white standard doors from the [GU] contract and install cheap Polish doors. And actually, he can install them himself right away, saving twice as much. Why not just replace the entire [GU], there are cheap builders, the [TE] will probably save even more than he wants. Best regards in short

Fact is. Soft ground and hillside location is always sh.... I would be cautious too. I can understand the intention to go from 509700 to 480 to have a 20 reserve. That's just how it is. We would have as major items garage, controlled residential ventilation, basement expansion, guest WC shower, outdoor facilities. As smaller items kitchen, doors and windows, waiving photovoltaics, waiving upsampling. Maybe there is also room for maneuver in the roof covering. There is a lot between Harzer Pfanne and glazed clay. And then you have to decide where we give, where not. But leaving everything and saving 30 is not possible. And , this has nothing to do with my age. Karsten

Compulsive, stingy, narrow-minded, humorless, with Polish ancestors, grayphobia, ventilation resistance, that’s how I am. Karsten
