If that’s not really a part the size of a 12-year-old, I would strongly advise you to have it done! Last summer I broke up about 8m² of reinforced concrete slab about 20cm thick with a 50-joule hammer. Including clearing away the rubble, it took two long Saturdays in the end, and unless you bought a professional device for many thousands of euros, you will curse the vibrations after just a few minutes.

An excavator would have made that thing disappear within 2 hours.

Oops. All of that times 8 in our case. Then a digger is probably the better solution for us too, thanks for the tip :)

We only cleared out
For us, it was a residential house, barn, stable, outbuilding

Residential house and all the outbuildings took over a week and sometimes up to 4 people. Nevertheless, we had the night storage heaters removed. Bringing those pieces undamaged over the old, steep stairs was impossible.

Gutting and preparation for demolition took the company about 2-2.5 weeks (sometimes with 4 people). Regardless of the fact that you should be free of dizziness to install the chimney, take off roof tiles, and remove the rafters, we would never have removed pipes, wall and floor coverings, as well as electrical cables and windows at that speed.

Asbestos from the barn was handled by a specialist company with a work platform (so that the old roof doesn’t have to be walked on; who knows how much longer it can carry weight)
Then the demolition excavator came in and that’s where own labor stopped at the latest. Wood, steel, rubble separated,
Even if you have less and professionals with heavy equipment and a coordinated logistics team come, doing it yourself stops being profitable.

I only got dizzy while reading.. luckily, at the moment we "only" have to remove the old double garage and the concrete driveway :D

I have now posted a request for a quote on MyHammer - a company (with good reviews) offered €8400 net. So with 10k + demolition, we would theoretically be in range. Has anyone here had experience with the "Hammer providers"? It would be our first time...

That is less, especially if not built on. Incl. disposal?

My LB is "Privatfläche pflastern, Erde ausheben, Unterbau erstellen, Alte Pflastersteine entfernen, Material entsorgen". I need to check if the provider has really read everything :)
