Hello dear community,
we are now happy owners of an Alpha Innotec heat pump Jersey 5. Now I somehow have concerns that it is not set correctly because in our bathroom (set to 6) it only reaches a maximum of 21.5 degrees. While in the living room it easily reaches 23 (set to 4).
By the way, it is an underfloor heating system on 2 floors. The bathroom is on the second floor.
I have now let the system run logging for a few days.

Maybe there is a heat pump expert here who could take a look at it and help me?

Many thanks
Benjamin

How did you get the heat pump? Is it a new build or a heating replacement? This is followed by the question of room-specific heat load calculation or hydraulic balancing. Was anything done there or was the heat pump just put in and you left alone with it? Room thermostats? Maybe during the course of the thread we will get to the point where they all stand on 6 or can be removed. Because such a device does not regulate the temperature in a classical way but simply opens and closes the heating circuits of the underfloor heating. And if the properly adjusted heating (hence the question about the heat load calculation or hydraulic balancing) does its job correctly, you don’t need to regulate anything anymore. I think (fear) that in the first step the topic of hydraulic balancing must be addressed (after checking in the heat load calculation whether the desired temperature can even be reached in the bathroom ==> enough underfloor heating pipes available?). Afterwards fine-tuning of the heat pump.

Hello, yes it is a new building. The heating was installed by a company. Yes, thermostats 1-6 are installed in every room.

Works. But I just briefly looked at the underfloor heating design.

If the underfloor heating can only deliver about half of the required power in the bathroom, it cannot reach 24 degrees Celsius either. An additional heat source (electric wall heater or similar) is then required ==> available?
In the bathroom, the installation spacing is also "only" 10 cm. With 5 cm spacing, the underfloor heating would provide enough power.

Well great, then we were probably not properly advised there, or it simply was not taken into account. No, there is "at least for now" no additional heater available.

A clear yes. You will have to talk to your heating engineer / general contractor or whoever. In any case, the one who did the planning.

Sorry to bring this bad news first.
