Do I understand your statement correctly that a new contract would have to be concluded when changing employers? It is an ongoing contract that is supposed to be continued, or am I mistaken?

hello the new company has a different insurance company in-house. That means either porting and acceptance of the new contract conditions as well as the elimination of 40b or a new contract under new conditions. That is only possible from 2022 anyway because of the probationary period. From 2022 there is also no more guaranteed interest rate (?)

Hi, why not? The contract is 21 years old. If you pay the agreed contribution privately, it is not an increase and you maintain the guaranteed interest rate from back then.

How high is the guaranteed rate in your contract? And also consider the total interest rate. For example, mine (contract from 2004) guarantees 3.25% - including profit participation currently 3.7%. That's okay, but would be too little return for me for private funds.

Hi thank you for the valuable tip. Is the insurance company obliged to do that?
