Yes, I have thought about that part very thoroughly too, but as they say, a means to an end.

Separately accessible residential units, I think that’s okay until the property is paid off.

As an example, something we also looked at, but price-wise simply not worthwhile even though the properties were in top condition!

I haven't looked at the links yet. But: I would never say never. Why should a long plot be worse than none at all? If everything else is right, then a garden can be turned into a gem. You can even extend further on your property than a square [emoji4] Keep in mind: separate housing units are not allowed everywhere.

We are aware of the separate living units issue. But internally, you can use it as living space. It's just not approved for rental. I'm currently browsing through the forum, you appear quite often here. The experiences of those who have built here are worth their weight in gold!

1) A house without land is not a house. Then I might as well move into a condo in the city. Conclusion: 600 sqm is too little for such a box. At least 1000. 2) Build a semi-detached house. Relatives in 1-You in 2. 3) If relatives are dead, we’ll see further. Karsten

Hello Karsten,

Is there a difference between a semi-detached house and a two-family house? Except that a semi-detached house usually looks 1:1 like the other side.
