Construction time bungalow

Hello,

Quick question: to what extent does a bungalow differ from a multi-story house in terms of construction time?

Of course, a slab remains a slab. But does one save time (or not) because one doesn’t build upwards, or does the wider design cancel that out again?

A straight floor can be completed by 2 bricklayers at a single-family house in two to three days. Add one day for a bungalow due to the size. The slopes of a gable take somewhat longer, but not significantly so in terms of time, this applies to a gable roof at any floor height. Additionally, there is the erection of scaffolding. Overall, masonry does not require a significantly relevant amount of time. Seen even at some neighboring construction sites.

You save yourself the wait for the floor slab, which is usually omitted in bungalows. Depending on the planning, this can save a lot of time, as some companies only order it once the ground floor is fully built :)
