Hello everyone,
I have recently started dealing with the KfW funding for individual measures. We have an older single-family house and have already had a heating check conducted by the energy consultant (through the Verbraucherzentrale), as we would like to have a geothermal heat pump instead of the oil heating system in the future. Unfortunately, this requires some renovations. On the one hand, we want to replace the radiators with underfloor heating in the next few years (without funding), and on the other hand, we want to have the windows replaced (with funding).
The energy consultant said that an individual renovation roadmap (iSFP) would be suitable, which costs about €260 after deducting the BAFA funding. With this, it would be possible to get a loan from KfW with a 25% subsidy (KfW loan 151,152). However, the energy consultant must also carry out construction supervision for this. In quick internet research, I have seen some quite high amounts (up to €8000) for this and am now unsure whether it is even worth it. Do you have any experience with this? The funding for the windows would be around €4000-5000. Is the construction supervision really that expensive? Of course, I will still ask the energy consultant myself, but I wanted to get an idea of what costs are generally incurred for such construction supervision for an individual measure – or whether it is better to forgo the funding and the iSFP and take care of a loan on my own.
Maybe you have some experience or tips for me – at the moment, all of this is a bit unclear to me.
Best regards
