Construction start in winter? Begin next spring because of moisture?

We worked without a fan heater, but we were able to ventilate properly up to 7 times a day.
We live right next to the construction site.

Fan heaters are only used after the screed has been laid. Your site manager/architect will explain that to you in detail. But what has been aired out is gone. Moisture is sufficiently reintroduced by plaster and screed.

Passau.... it's beautiful there

I lived near Garmisch for two years until six years ago, and I wouldn’t start building there in autumn anymore. Too humid, too cold, too much snow.

It was nice there.

Okay, yes very nice here well Garmisch has quite a different weather than here. I could also air out several times a day. But the screed and plaster will only come from March April anyway... nothing will be done over winter ...

If your developer guarantees that the house will be weather-tight before winter sets in (the roof should be covered), I would start this year.

However, I am not really familiar with the weather conditions in Passau, you can assess that better.

Okay that sounds good, because he agreed to that. I also trust a bit in that but as I said, only to hear and see positive things about him... Thank you

Thanks, you are still very young (23&25) maybe some other silly questions will come up but I would also be happy to hear other opinions

You can let loose here and ask questions, but first use the search function and read through various topics. That helps in many cases.
