Hello dear community, I currently have a problem on our construction site that I don't yet know how to deal with. Here's the situation: We were kindly able to obtain the necessary electricity for our shell construction from a neighbor. To keep everything proper, we installed a construction power distributor with calibrated measurement and plugged it into a CEE16A socket at the neighbor's place. After the construction was closed, we immediately had our own proper meter installed and have been drawing our "construction power" from it. According to our meter, we used a little over 300 kWh, which seems completely realistic to me since we didn't have a crane, stone saw, or heater in use. Even the screed heating program was already running through our house connection. Now, the mentioned neighbor received his electricity bill and used 3400 kWh more than the previous year and believes this is our fault and naturally wants the money for it from us. The construction power distributor was connected to his meter for about half a year. The amount seems unreasonably high to me, especially since our meter shows something different. We then had our meter checked by a specialist company, but as expected, it is completely fine. Now my question to you... Does anyone have any idea how I should proceed with this or where this enormous difference could come from. Many thanks in advance!
