Dear builders
I intend to build a house in Tuscan style because I think practical, square, good, is cheaper than if I build gables and dormers.
The plot is available, the building window is 23 x 12
I want to build on the ground floor - 1 apartment for myself with about 120 sqm, and a living, dining room, kitchen and guest WC for the tenant, on the 1st floor - 1 guest room with shower for me and 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom and 1 shower bath for my tenant.
But everything should be separated so that the tenant and I have completely separate areas, I have also possibly thought about building the area on the ground floor for my tenant as an extension or around the corner, because the 1st floor does not have to be as big as the ground floor.
A basement would be good but depends on the price.
Does anyone have an idea what this could cost or an idea how I could design it.
I am also considering whether to build with a property developer or a general contractor (where is the decisive difference?) or whether an architect is ultimately cheaper?
Grateful for any idea is
Evelyn
