After what period were you able to obtain a loan and in what amount?

Yes, but banks want a sustainable business development. You are still rather in the start-up phase, even if the development is positive. DKB is impersonal; a regional partner would have been better.

It was almost exactly 4 years. The requirement back then (year 2000) was 100,000 DM due to a change in company structure and office relocation, of which almost 60,000 flowed back almost immediately. Not comparable. (Figures only as accurate as my memory allows)

Who still banks with D** these days, make sure you go to a proper bank, you can't even withdraw 10,000 euros in cash anywhere with them!!!! And they have to google what an instant transfer is as well.

As it seems to me, I can forget about my project for now. I had found other loans for freelancers but these were always limited to 50k or 5 years, and even if one were to get one, the chances of getting a second would be slim; by the way, the repayment amounts here were between 60-65k. Well, I will keep asking around to see if someone might have the "hot tip" for me after all.

I had to take a bank from the country where the property is located for the real estate financing because of the mortgage, which a bank does not like to enforce in a foreign country.

I was in a similar situation and had quite good experiences with online banks. Axa is widely known as flexible and not overpriced. After checking with 4 banks (including my own house bank), 2 online banks, and a loan broker, I received 4 offers, including Axa, a small major bank, and the two online banks. None of the common major banks, cooperative banks, or savings banks were among them. They all declined.

I would first inquire with Axa, then with the loan broker, then with the online banks. But it is very stressful because the staff are not prepared for an international issue. They always have to check with the back office first, which takes time.

Be brave! It will work out somewhere.
