Do you have a loan example that was completed? If yes, how high, which bank and after how many years of self-employment? If this information is too private for you, of course I understand if you don’t want to provide it. Still, thanks for your message

Check 24? Go to a branch bank and restructure. Your case is too individual for you to fit an online one-size-fits-all scheme.

It wouldn’t help me much, as I am married and my wife’s income (rather average as a social worker) was taken into account. Our loan was also around 150k. Fortunately, I had just completed my first three full years as a solo self-employed person with not particularly high, but stable net revenues between 50-60 K p.a. That was enough for the bank to classify it as reliable. But in my opinion, all want to see those three (stable) years. And as I said, having a second earner in the household makes the decision easier. So in the end, get married ; )

Actually, I was quite surprised that Check24 follows scheme F, you are absolutely right "HilfeHilfe". I had also considered consulting a financial advisor, but before I do that, I’d rather see if I can find someone on my own. It’s really astonishing that 150k is a problem when earning 50-60k... How long were you planning to take to pay it off? I had also thought about bringing my brother on board, but he is a university lecturer in England and with Brexit added to my situation, that would be too much.

Your brother also represents a special case = income abroad.

Find a bank in your place of residence, take your financial statements and go there.

Your case remains a special case, common portals won’t accomplish anything.

Where is abroad then? In border areas, where people commute and especially in Switzerland earn much more, almost every regional bank does that. If it is an exotic country where you can't even seize assets, it probably won't work.
