Yes, it was perhaps reckless to sell the house before building permits. But we planned 12 months for a single-family house.
Yes, we also have obligations stated in the contract. For example, we submitted the completed building application to the building authority.
And yes, in January we ordered construction electricity and construction water as well as the separately metered connection. The DIXI toilet is already on the construction site.
But as builders, we did not know that we needed a crane; the plumber and our construction manager said that. We were even scheduled to meet at the construction site by phone with the construction manager and the plumber. And who didn’t come? The construction manager. The plumber even made us an offer without a large crane, but with extra costs that we were willing to pay.
However, the construction manager said over the phone a day later that everything had been arranged: we would get the construction electricity from the neighbor and the crane was also approved. The plumber knows about it, but steel is lying around on the construction site, no construction fence, the red dot is not hanging. Anyone can come onto the property and steal everything.
But this was not the case after a call with the city. And when the electrician called us angrily because it was not working with the neighbors’ electricity.
Oh, and it was funny as well: they wanted to deliver our shell staircase at the end of March. I was supposed to unlock the door. I laughed so hard I fell off my chair; they are welcome to come, everything is open.
There is a DIXI toilet buried, a distribution box without electricity and steel there, and at the end of July our garage. Oh, and don’t forget the construction staircase. The bank also already wanted photos of the great construction.
