Believe above all in Baden Württemberg - in Lower Saxony you can also get the medium equipment for 1600 € and in Saxony maybe already for 1500 €.

@ jt1910: May one know where you want to build in BaWü?

We have a total of 224 sqm of living space (109 sqm on the ground floor, 94 sqm on the upper floor, and 21 sqm hobby room in the basement) above the 5!

The above-mentioned price also includes a double garage with 56 sqm which is also partially integrated into the ground floor.

It should be noted regarding our price that we are only partially building a basement.

You with your cost "estimates". I would say that without a floor plan no reasonable estimate is possible, right? In Saxony, turnkey for 1350 EUR (excluding painting/floor coverings) including clay roof tiles, monolithic masonry, granite window sills, and aluminum shutters. For 1,450 EUR you then have Kfw55 with controlled indoor ventilation and electric shutters. So, the regional price differences are huge anyway.

In BW, 1450 euros per square meter usually only brings a lot of trouble and gray hair

And a house from Poland can also sometimes be found for 1,000 EUR or 1,100 EUR per sqm. Whether that causes trouble, I don't know. Price levels vary everywhere, but so do expectations. The OP is also building in BW, my answer regarding Saxony was only because of post #13 by BeHaElJa. If you tell me that KFW55 with electric shutters and controlled residential ventilation costs around 1,800 EUR per sqm where you are, then I believe you.

If we now add wood-aluminum, fireplace, exterior blinds, KNX, etc. - then we will surely also end up at 1,800 or 2,000 EUR per sqm at some point...

At first, I also always thought that something like this could be done cheaply. But in every sample selection meeting it was the same: They show you what is available for the planned budget and then what nice things there are for a little more. At the end of the conversation, you are only building once in your life, want to do everything right, or tell yourself that you really don't want to save at this position. The end of the story is that construction costs go through the roof or construction prices in BW of 1200 euros per square meter are only feasible for someone who consoles themselves with having a roof over their head.
