Construction company would rather not have an assessor

The fact that the construction company is trying to discredit my own surveyor would immediately make me suspicious. I have also often heard from people who have brought in an external surveyor, and so far there have never been any problems. As the previous speakers said: defects had to be remedied, and these are exactly what the surveyors determine.

Regarding the TÜV inspections, I was also suspicious at first. With our construction company, it is such that we have a warranty insurance included in the scope of services, which is from the same company that also performs the TÜV inspections. Therefore, the TÜV certainly has a strong interest in properly identifying all defects.

Everyone has the right to hire a building expert of their choice! You should definitely do that! We got an "Independent Building Expert" and lo and behold, so many defects were revealed that the architect and the house construction company wanted to cover up... The money is definitely worth it! Isn't it strange that someone tries to talk you out of it...

just sober facts:
- a building expert can certainly cause delays and trouble, there are also experts without understanding.
- a construction company that is against external control from the start... must have something to hide or does not trust its own trade.

form your own opinion, personally I would not build with them.

no expert in the world can cause greater damage, no matter how technically flawed or impractical they may be, than a construction company left unchecked because it has concerns about external control.

Correct, only low-cost providers fear detection by external specialists!

Hello! So what do I do if the house construction company still does not want to fix defects despite a building expert and an assessor from the Chamber of Crafts and even wants an outrageous amount of money??? Is there anyone from Berlin-Brandenburg here who has built with a Falkensee construction company and has a lot of stress with them???

Hello,

What anyone with common sense would do?

Find a lawyer specializing in contract law (preferably with experience in construction)

Best regards from the Rhineland
