Well, is it true? Who knows?

But he really advised us quite fairly on many things and also clearly recommended in some cases to take that out of the GU delivery and scope of services because his employer would be way too expensive and we should do it ourselves.

They still made enough money from us...

We have those as well. A few weeks ago the first one broke when a neighbor's soccer ball "landed" on the roof *g*. It probably already had a hairline crack, but was replaced by the general contractor without any discussion.

We still have an almost full pallet here, so if you need any in burgundy... could look interesting if exchanged selectively...

A fundamental question, how long do roof tiles realistically last? Braas apparently offers a 30-year warranty on the tiles/bricks. Is it then to be expected, as with many electrical appliances, that one will crumble after another? On many houses, I still see 50-60 year old tiles on the roof, is that realistic for today's ones?
