100€ for water per month? Did you permanently water the lawn with tap water in summer? For 100€ a month, we could also let about 650 liters run per day. But there are still two of us and during the week we are out of the house for about 12 hours a day. Additionally, we are certainly out of the house for at least a month per year due to vacation.

I only used the 150 cubic meters as an example. The national average for four people is 180 cubic meters p.a., as Google reveals. I also find that a bit high.
We come to about 130, but the kids are still smaller, so there is room to grow.
However, about 30 cubic meters easily went into the garden.
