I don't have such a statement. Every month there are new surprises and life remains exciting. Today €375 for a ski trip with the school. I prefer to tinker with the income, that is fun. Cutting expenses is usually much more unsatisfying for me - especially since then I annoy my whole family.

I think you have everything very well under control - much better than I do myself - and are economical. Of course, you can discuss details if you want.

I have no advice for you. I generally do not book reserves for a specific purpose. It is generally good to have some security, regardless of the purpose. Such a list is useful if you want to answer the question: what can I afford in the future, especially when additional burdens like loans come up. Personally, I have no fixed savings amounts, but do not spend what is left over. I do not calculate how much that is.

How do you tinker with the income? You have to explain it to me so I can adjust it a bit too. What exactly do you mean by that? Well, I try to keep an eye on it. And I would have considered us less thrifty.

There are several possibilities: As an employee: influence performance-based salary components, vary working hours and days, take on a side job, change jobs As a private individual: sell something, find a job, bonuses/commissions for occasional project mediation As a self-employed person: This is one of the main tasks in self-employment
