Actually, it doesn't matter which one you have, they all have similar technical specifications regarding transmission power. I have a 7330.

We have the 7390 in the utility room, which is not ideal either. I will probably relocate it. Alternatively, there are not only WLAN but also DECT repeaters. Unfortunately not both in one.

Some people do put the router IN the server cabinet. In principle, placing it ON the cabinet mounted on the wall should be better for the signal/signals, right?

I can already see: trying is better than studying.

You can also attach stronger antennas to it if you want, that definitely makes a difference.
