Hello

I would like a prefinished parquet. It should be installed as a floating floor. What type of connection is recommended by professionals for a floating installation? Depending on the supplier and product, you sometimes only get one or the other option and not always both.

Which option, that is click parquet or tongue and groove, is used when?

Thank you in advance,
Colo

Today, click parquet is usually preferred for floating installation. However, for floating installation, a 3-layer construction is necessary in any case. Therefore, 3-layer tongue and groove is certainly feasible, but nowadays rather less commonly chosen.
