Hello everyone!
First of all, thanks for the further feedback!
Regarding the nooks and crannies, some of them only came about through the reduction of the square meters. The question then is, what is more expensive. One less corner and 5-10m² more or a corner and 5-10m² less.
For example, the living room area: the depth was only 3m in the first draft, which we found much too small, so we made it 5 meters deep. But if I pull the guest room and the dining room just as far back so that everything stays in a straight line, then I end up with an additional 24m² and the same again upstairs, so 48m² more! In that case, I consider the 2 corners to be a bit more cost-effective. Or am I wrong?
Assuming I push the left front part to the right so that the left side is completely flush and thus the side entrance downstairs and the storage room upstairs are eliminated, is that still possible with the roof? See attachment if I were to cut off that part.
The WC is mentally already out for me. I've been thinking for a while about how to make the kitchen smaller without significantly affecting the exterior.
, we were there and also at Viebrockhaus and oriented ourselves also by their room sizes. The bathroom is even similar at Viebrockhaus. And the comparison with controlled ventilation and smart home really doesn't belong in such a house. What did those luxury villas do 20 years ago without SmartHome? I also have to accept compromises and I see that with SmartHome and possibly with controlled ventilation, although I would like to build everything ready just in case the budget is available in the future. That means laying pipes for later cables, etc., of course where it makes sense. Oh yes, I actually drive a Skoda and I have no problem having the car standing in front of the door.
And "staircase corresponding to the house"—can you give me an example? Although I do not need a pompous staircase if it takes up 20m² more again, that would be like the claim that now there has to be a Mercedes in front of the door.
Regarding no-barrier, I'll have a look, thanks!
