I find this sentence absolutely fitting and a summary of all the previous speakers. From @tox, it’s just a summary of our impressions anyway. They are not nicely packaged words. But no one in this forum has ever understood the hint with the fence post.

In the spirit of Helge Schneider's words "I am the sausage specialty salespersonin" I of course mean the "housewife (m/f)"

So, read the whole thread, ... and I can think of no other response than: I fully agree with all the criticisms, I would not want to build or buy like that.

I would also like to suggest to the OP not to dismiss the exact words as pedantry or misunderstand them as malice. One can also see it as an advantage that no one gets paid in a forum and therefore no one has to make themselves popular. Honesty sometimes just doesn’t necessarily sound friendly.

I also think that, given the large area, not much was achieved – so one can become smaller (and thus cheaper) without any loss. At the moment, you pay a lot of money for little living functionality. It doesn’t have to be that way, does it?

I have to agree with Yvonne: overly delicate comments are usually easily overlooked. And especially regarding those from toxicmolotow, I would say one acts, to put it mildly, "not wisely" if one ignores them "just" because they are sometimes delivered with a sharp edge. That won’t happen either. When faced with the choice of sacrificing the desired staircase or trimming a bit of fat off the square meters, I rather see the staircase win.
