Thank God tastes differ and one should not argue about that. I have already taken and passed on some constructive changes here. I also see where improvements could be made and am very open to it. But telling that one suffers from a "taste aberration" is not very nice.

, thanks for that too. We already have a relatively new kitchen that we will take with us and expand. We already paid 5000 € for it, so I’m reluctant to leave it behind, and it is only 2 years old. Definitely budget another 5000 €, even though we only need a new induction cooktop and extractor hood. All other appliances are available.

Our kitchen with all built-in appliances (extra large refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.) cost about €18,000 in total. The first offer was over 40k! What is still missing in the picture is the integrated Hohmeier extractor above the stove and a 1.0x0.8m solid wood countertop. More to come ;-)

No, that is vinyl flooring in slate apricot! Looks great, doesn’t it?

Pictures will follow, I can also post them in a thread.

Bathroom in that spot is good, because the pipes are also well laid out there. On the ground floor between the bathroom and pantry we have a "thick" wall, in which all the water, sewage, and electricity lines as well as ventilation supply and exhaust are located. Keep in mind: a bathroom above the living room gets interesting if you have an open wooden ceiling (like we do)... You can always hear the wastewater!

You should definitely have the width of the dressing room changed again, absolutely!!! With a raw construction measure of 3.01, a 3 m wardrobe will not fit afterwards. I never understand how this mistake can happen so often. For a kitchen of that size, a few more euros would have to be paid.

Me neither, and I did not say it. It is simply that through the described symmetry-caused inflation of the surface areas, size dimensions result into which a lot of money is poured. In combination with the almost unavoidable disproportions of windows and hallways that come along with the "super surfaces," it results for the viewer, after perceiving that it must have cost a lot, in immediate disappointment that beauty was not obtained in return. Unfortunately, many builders cannot resist such symmetrical structures and overly subdivide the stretched façade surfaces to compensate (with small bricks or the anthracite-colored smoky eyes between and next to the window bands).

Yes, great.

This happens because the half-centimeter "precise" dimensions derived from the construction guideline measure are confused with narrow tolerances. A 301 cm target raw construction dimension can also be an actual raw construction dimension of 298 cm—minor deviations from the vertical not yet included—and after plaster then still 294 (before deduction of the baseboards).

Then you have to be extremely careful again: an inch is popularly often converted as 2 or 3 cm ...
