Circulation is a waste of energy and completely unnecessary with proper piping planning in a single-family house. That is my opinion on the matter.

Stupid question I always ask. Don’t you have an external construction supervisor who checks such things?

Correct, and beforehand you should think about it when planning the floor plan.

I think it is now a bit too late for the pipe planning.

Well, the piping planning certainly isn’t that bad. It’s not like the planner or we didn’t think about it. But it couldn’t be done differently and the scale. Black or white is not always solution-oriented. Saying it only depends on the planning is nonsense. After a certain point, you just need solutions like a circulation pump.

In the meantime, we have received the final invoice but no answer to our inquiry about the missing circulation line. However, it was stated like this in the order confirmation and also commissioned by us. Now, after my complaint, the relevant points regarding the circulation pump etc. were simply removed from the final invoice without comment. That is of course not a solution to the problem for me but an open admission that it was not carried out as commissioned. That is then a defect and I can now also expect accordingly that he installs the thing for me, somehow, right?

If you really want the circulation line, and it is part of the contract, you can also demand it and refuse acceptance and payment. Set a reasonable deadline and threaten to carry out the work yourself, i.e. after the second deadline you can commission another craftsman to install the line at his expense… but I would clarify this beforehand with a lawyer based on your contract.

We had a similar situation with the electrician. The contract explicitly stated "circuit diagram of the house wiring." He didn’t do it, claiming it would take him 2 weeks of work. I gave him exactly that choice… 80 hours deduction from the final invoice or the circuit diagram… Unfortunately, I didn’t get a circuit diagram, but the price for the electrician was okay…
