Christmas lighting on flat roof - ground spike

So if it absolutely has to go on the roof, I would rather think of an umbrella stand with granite/concrete slabs as weight. You can definitely get the spike into the holder as well. Then block it with a bolt screw. But all the stuff has to go up there too. Do you have stairs there or do you have to manage it with a ladder? It wouldn't be worth it to me. Just put it in the front yard soil.

Best to save electricity and no lighting;) What exactly is it? A 5 meter tree with lighting obviously needs to be secured differently than a 50cm display. I would also use the plant pots with stones and attach the strings to them. If these are not yet available, the mentioned alternative with umbrella stand bases.

When I think of weight and flat roofs, I consider it a no-go. Just leave it be, you don’t have to have and copy everything. You might even damage your roof with it…
