Roof with photovoltaic or other investment, any experiences?

Brief follow-up: I ultimately installed 2x 40mm conduits on the roof to be able to retrofit in 10 years if necessary. In my opinion, empty conduits also make sense for the garage.

I consider that sensible. There are many things in house construction without any gain in comfort. Only personal attitude towards things matters.

I wanted to provide a current update on what we have implemented so far.
The roof, insulated/covered according to [KFW] standards, was completed this week.
Amazing look and the insulation immediately stood out positively.

In addition, I decided on a small photovoltaic system with the option to expand.
That means more wiring was laid on the roof right away to easily add modules later.
For the next 3-5 years, we will use the 4kwp system and gather experience.

There is enough budget left to replace the heating system, where a hydraulic balancing will also be carried out.

The window panes will still be replaced and then our major modernization measures will be completed for the time being.
