Children's room on the upper floor open up to the roof

Hello everyone! We have planned it so that all rooms - except the 2 children's rooms - on the upper floor are "closed" (Kehlgebälk). Above the rooms (hallway, parents' room, dressing room, bathroom) there is a walkable loft. In the children's rooms, it is open up to the ridge, as they say (no Kehlgebälk with loft).

I thought it was cool and if we had to build with a knee wall, it would definitely have been with 2 levels.

sorry for the question, but how am I supposed to imagine it. Did you then install the insulation completely directly under the battens? All the providers we have spoken to so far only offer the insulation directly above the ceiling, which creates the so-called cold roof.

And that would be exactly the additional cost: the roof area is larger than the ceiling, so more insulation material has to be used. The cold roof is thus ruled out and the roof space is within the thermal envelope without ceiling/floor.

Post some photos I also have 60sqm attic... do you have beams or completely without?

There is then a ladder from the children's room to a kind of "mezzanine". Our little one really liked that. But not my wallet.
