The point is: In this case, there is only one child. And he writes about how he tries to somehow collect the money through "tricks" with buying/selling an apartment and then buying a house. No idea what VW has to do with that? Aside from that, everyone is welcome to have a different opinion and express it.

I refer to your thread that the family has a net income of €6,000. As long as the taxable income is below the specified limit, no one should be publicly shamed for applying for child bonus. As long as the "tricks" are legally okay, he can "trick" as he wants.

One can do a lot. Whether one does it for that reason or not is another matter. Of course, everyone has to decide that for themselves. It wouldn't be mine. But that is a matter of opinion.

Since we’re already starting like this in a house building forum... We all build houses for €200,000+ and in Africa children are dying who lack €10-30 per month. Everyone should first take a look at themselves before talking about morality and ethics.

For one, you are comparing apples and oranges, and for another, I did not speak about morals and ethics. By the way, I think it’s great how dying children in Africa are used as a blanket knockout argument to justify doing whatever is legally allowed... A bit cynical, isn’t it?

Not even close. Here, people are being "condemned" because a family with one child and a net income of €6,000 wants to apply for Baukindergeld. Other families might be more in need of the Baukindergeld. I just spin the web further and say: The money for building a house could also be more useful to other people because their basic needs are not even met.

We have laws; as long as these are not broken, he can apply for his money.
