and if there should be multiple screens, the laptop goes into a docking station, etc.
no sorry ^^ you want to build a private data center^^ that's really nonsense, especially since all companies are moving to the cloudYou don't need to question the point of it. :D I'm just tech-savvy and will never get by with only a laptop. For my work, I need as many large screens as possible ;) I just assume having 4 PCs and 4 TVs, and I'd like to set up everything as centrally as possible and only have screens and input devices at the corresponding spot. ;) Ok, I already thought it would come down to terminals or NUCs. But that way, I already have no noise level in the rooms, which is very important to me. Which ones are suitable here if you want 4 screens? Do I need special software for this or is Windows Remote enough? (There should be different screens with different resolutions possible)

What data volume is it about?I don't want my data in the cloud and I don't want my PC in the room I'm in.
What performance do you need? What requirements must the computer meet?@Bookstar Can't you imagine that some people cannot cope well enough with the performance of a NUC or laptops and still don't want a chugging machine standing next to them?
What should the kids be able to do and why not have their own PC? How many users Are Tell us simply what you want to do and we will tell you what is possible. It would of course also be great if not every child needed their own PC but that could also be solved centrally.
