We plan 2.635m from raw floor level on the ground floor and upper floor with a 14cm floor structure. Basements are 2.385m also with a 14cm floor structure. So, if you want to put it that way, complete standard.
Why? Because our architect specified it that way and it is sufficient for us. My wife is 1.55cm. The additional 10cm above is completely irrelevant to her and I was also not willing to spend more money on it.
Due to the higher ceilings, almost everything becomes more expensive. Apart from the surcharge for the masonry, especially the windows, possibly also the doors, if the standard height no longer appeals or also the guest bathroom (wall tiles). If the upper floor is raised as well, then everything x2. Last but not least, the additional volume has to be heated for the next decades.
But everyone can do as they please. The 2k€ for the additional row of bricks are at least not the only item that adds up.
