Basement? Attic?

Neither basement nor attic.

Additional construction costs vary of course... depending on the ground and the wishes of the builder. There are quite good summaries here in the forum..

I believe it also depends on the region. I consider 1800 to be too much. Here in the far east, it is rather between 1400 and 1700.

We build in the east and that was maybe 2..3...4 years ago. Currently, no one here builds anymore either (or only by themselves). There are no craftsmen available anymore.

Then we have to divide the East [emoji846], Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in any case. Exception of course the commuter belts around the big cities. I am now at 1600 per sqm, but with some additions. And that is completely normal here in the wilderness.

Here in the West, friends are just finishing turnkey houses at 1600/sqm with parquet and slate floors. But without extensive building technology.
