You will not get prices from the wholesaler, and you also don't know how the material price in the [Baubeschreibung] is determined. Furthermore, the plumber is not obliged to pass on his purchase prices to you; expect a markup of 50-100%.

Yes, with the new wholesaler I know the prices and at least have some overview of the additional costs. Of course, I am still caught in a dilemma. The plumber can certainly earn something, but the fun stops at triple the price for labor and material.

The wholesale prices are not of interest. It is about the material price stated in the installer’s offer.

That's true, but he can hardly charge a material price above the MSRP, that would put him in a tight spot. On Monday I have the sampling appointment, then many things should be clearer...
