So, just got a call from the heating engineer – the heat pump will be delivered tomorrow! Jubilate ad absurdum! Electricians are also working right now.

A great thing! For me, installation and commissioning took 2 working days. So you should be able to use your machine by Friday at the latest.

today the Vaillant customer service was also at our place and carried out the last remaining repair work. Now let's hope that the air source heat pump does its job again without any "incidents"... :)

The "automatic air vent" was defective. It apparently dripped for several weeks inside the tower. Water leaked there, which unfortunately ran down inside the device. When it suddenly came out at the bottom, we were surprised. It was promptly replaced by Vaillant. However, since the system is still fairly new (about 1 year old), I insisted that the circulation pump, which was also affected, including the insulation, be replaced. Unfortunately, this was delayed until yesterday. Vaillant had marked the process as completed after replacing the air vent. However, since I insisted on the replacement of the pump, which was also noted in the protocol, they had to come back again and finish the work.

What does your silence mean? Is the heat pump missing? Or just the electrician?

No, everything is installed now, but the heat pump is (still) not running. Unfortunately, the technician has not gotten in touch with an explanation. I have to call and ask after the weekend. Hopefully, the house does not cool down too much over the weekend.

Hmm strange, I discovered today that the heat pump is actually already running. No idea what I (didn't) see yesterday. I first set the desired temperature down to 18° because we mainly just work there. But the temperature simply wouldn't go below 20.5°, let's see how it is tomorrow... The outside temperature is just under 2° right now and is expected to drop to -1° tonight.
