Hello,
Question: What do you want with a power generator? You can cook better on gas and with such a small hardware store power generator you can't run your heat pump either. For that, you need something decent that also delivers a proper sine wave.
Generating enough heat to not freeze in the house is certainly no problem for a few days or even weeks with a wood stove.
Much more interesting is a question that is often not considered at all: drinking water and water for flushing the toilet. Assume that in the event of a widespread power outage, the waterworks and their pumps also have no power. And then not a drop will come from your tap!
Best regards,
Andreas
Power generator and supplies according to the disaster control list. Then you are pretty safe for about 2 weeks. In addition, 2 gas cylinders, gas stove and gas heater. Then all that works for a while
