Okay, I'm just asking because I'm still looking for optimization possibilities for the house. If you're already restoring inside and outside, it would be annoying afterwards if possible "small things" were not done at the same time.

Take a close look at the front door. It is probably already warped/slightly leaky.

There is potential in such points.

Is there by any chance a structural engineer in this forum who can help us and tell us if the load-bearing walls in the house can be removed?

Exactly, the door is also supposed to be removed and replaced with a new door.

Find an expert in your region who can answer your questions.
Your questions exceed the scope of a forum.
You can find the expert in the directory of your hometown.

Good luck!

Although I am only a physicist and not a structural engineer.

Both professions usually advise against it.

You of course *cannot* just remove load-bearing walls like that. The structure’s stability would then be affected, and there would be an immediate risk of collapse.

It might be possible to remove parts of the wall and create a passage; of course, a lintel must then be dimensioned according to the conditions and professionally installed.

This is always a case-by-case consideration and calculation.

Here you need to have it planned (architect + structural engineer). Based on concrete building plans and much more.
