Bungalow with open ceilings - looking for inspirations

Hello, we are going to build this year.

We already know exactly what it will be.
An L-shaped bungalow with a gable roof and open ceilings in the living and dining area.

In my opinion, a classic L-shaped bungalow looks a bit odd when you choose a gable roof. My reading tip as an "introduction to the topic" would be this: - I believe we also once discussed open roof undersides in the living and dining area there.

I was referring to an L, not a U. By the way, the acoustic ceiling of the depicted Hauscompagnie design wouldn't be really my thing in a residential building.
