Oh, there are so many beautiful things. But everything costs money. You shouldn't want to have everything that others have. Suddenly the house becomes too expensive or one thing no longer fits with the other.
Sometimes there can also be too much, for example the ceiling height. Or because of the many exterior surfaces, you will then have to upgrade the technical equipment a bit.
A pinned post of mine in the Baukosten forum "tells" something about this.

But now to your question:
Our living room is open. There are pictures in our building blog.
You can also refer to two-story houses with the upper ceiling open for interior views. From memory, Viebrockhaus has one like that.

Furthermore, of course, Danwood with its creative floor plans also has bungalows that are open to the top.

With open roof undersides, also a 265 cm "knee wall" - one can also overdo it.

Yes, the budget limit is always hovering over me. Let's see what is possible. 2 offers are still pending. I expect them in about 10 days.

Yes, it is all a matter of taste. We love it open and filled with light. For that, the house at 140sqm is not oversized.

The ceiling / underside of the roof must either still be reached by a significant amount of light from the facade windows, or have roof windows installed itself. Otherwise, you have darkness hanging over you. So the roof should not be too high.
