Bungalow with 40-degree roof pitch still nice?

we are still at the beginning of the planning. Unfortunately, we have a rather narrow plot, so only 10 m remain for the house in width. In addition, the attic is to be converted for the children. We have now received the first plan, in which the roof unfortunately has a pitch of 40 degrees in order to have enough space in the attic.

Question: Who else has a bungalow with a 40-degree hip roof and could possibly send Emir a picture?

So for me, up to 35 degrees everything is visually okay, but I have often seen bungalows where the roof really had an unpleasant height... I fear that at 40 degrees it will also start to look unpleasant, so I would like to see a real picture...

Ugly. Or clearly, it is ugly. If 40 degrees, then not a hip roof, but a classic gable roof.

Nobody will have built that, I suppose. Here is a stylized sketch, but you probably have that yourself with your draft?: The roofer will be happy. Seriously, it looks bad. Even with a gable roof, I wouldn’t go over 35°.

Space is needed, or it is not needed. If so, then one does not shrink the available attic space with a hip roof.
