No matter which manufacturer, I have 5 offers from 4 different manufacturers and all include a buffer, always costing around 500,- euros net. It is necessary for the operation of the heat pump so that it does not shut down from full operation to zero immediately. It is like a car not braking before a wall but driving straight into it. The heat pump also runs without it but with risk and a much shorter lifespan. Neither the heating system installers want this nor is it their choice, but a requirement from the manufacturers.
