Building a house without equity?

From my own experience, I can only say that since the first "wish" to acquire a property of our own (it started with a visit to a model house park), or actually we always wanted to build something, it took just over 3.5 years until moving in.

And this is not even a new building.

Unfortunately, in our area, building land is a rare commodity.

The conclusion from this thread is quite clear and I can only support it. After 2 years in the profession, I would definitely dismiss such a wish as a "pipe dream."

Wait another 5-10 years and save as much as possible in the meantime. With 30-50 thousand euros of equity, things look quite different and income will certainly increase significantly during this time as well.
