Meh. That's quite a lot of money.
How much leeway can realistically be created if, for example, you don't fully expand everything right away and invest a lot of your own effort?
Who is supposed to build at such moon prices anyway?
The crazy thing is, these are "unfortunately" not moon prices but realistic prices.
I recently posted my experiences on the topic of budget and construction costs in another thread (can be found on my profile).
In short (all costs but without land): We went from €250,000 "initial estimate" to just over €400,000 'all in' without land. And we already made compromises due to budget constraints. The land itself cost another €165,000.
House: 158 sqm living space on two full floors with a garage for one car, construction-friendly soil, no basement, no KfW 70, no controlled residential ventilation, no air heat pump.
The truth hurt, and then everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want and, above all, can do that. Our equity was/has been correspondingly high.
