Hi everyone,
does anyone have a great tip for a bright, decorative kitchen lamp for me? I just moved and really need enough light in my small kitchen!
I would love to be inspired by your new favorite things :)
Looking forward to your suggestions!

Hello Smörebröd!

I recently converted my kitchen completely to LED.

Under the 120cm Ikea stainless steel board, I screwed on 8 (2 x 4) Dioder lights. I routed the cables invisibly inside the board. The light shines from the board onto the white wall and spreads nicely over the bright worktop in front.

I did something similar with the Faktum upper cabinets. I placed Dioder lights both at the top inside the cabinet and at the bottom on the ceiling side (15 cm distance). Thanks to the glass doors, there is already a lot of pleasant light. The cables are also routed invisibly here in the side panels and the lower finishing ceiling panel.

By the way, the power supplies supplied with Dioder deliver 5 W output, with a bit of soldering skill you can connect up to 10 Dioder lights to one power supply. This significantly reduces cable clutter.

For the ceiling light, I chose a Campo 605 with 6 LEDs each with 4 W from WoFi Leuchten (PDF catalog page 31). The color temperature matches the Dioder lights very well, it consumes only a fraction of the power compared to the previous two fluorescent tubes (2 x 52 W) and of course looks much better.

Even the 28 Dioder lights already provide such good basic brightness that I rarely need the big WoFi light.

I am very satisfied with it.

Dioder is good and if you also have a socket in the upper wall area, you can combine this well with a wireless socket. I have that in the kitchen. In the evening we always turn it on (our Dioder are on the upper cabinet) and with wine or beer it is a nice light.

Also switched to wireless and grouped my lighting into four groups. 1.Group mood lighting ( evening lighting ) 2. eye-catcher ( visitor light ) 3. cooking 4. general ( ceiling etc. ) best regards bergpriv

Oh, that's great! Thank you for your wonderful ideas! I will try it out right away in my little room and maybe the phrase "Es werde Licht!" will help as well.

Greetings from smörebröd
