Blower-Door-Test - Is the fireplace room-air dependent?

My fireplace is room air-independent. Therefore, only negative pressure can occur through exhaust air from the range hood or [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung].

If one motor of the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] fails, the other automatically shuts down as well.

Fortunately, our district chimney sweep was recently at a training.

It always depends on the chimney sweep whether he accepts/knows/approves it that way.

We have planned a room air-independent fireplace. The supply air is provided through a separate supply air duct above the floor slab. Nevertheless, the chimney sweep, to whom we have given the planning documents, insists in the statement on the negative pressure monitor Leda Luc 2 approx. 1000€. (Controlled residential ventilation available). The BUS cable is laid by the electrician from the HAR to the fireplace, so that everything is prepared.

How and where do you lay the hose? It has to be connected to the outside air. I can't really imagine that as optimal in a passive house like the one we build!

The supply air duct actually goes through the exterior wall and receives a sealing system. However, the architect and chimney builder see this as a better function of the chimney.
