Regarding the property itself, it is an apartment in penthouse style, on the 2nd floor, with only the roof above it. For my girlfriend and me, this matter is important because we are naturally concerned that considerable costs might arise for us in the near future. Moreover, this could reduce the value of the property and that might also affect the loan – since the bank would then have to value the property lower. It would be our first property, so we might also be more cautious.

Moment: So it's not about a house at all, but only about an apartment in a house that you want to buy? Then completely different rules apply, for example, you do not own the exterior wall. Is it a larger house? Is there a property management company?

Yes, there is a property management. The building has 3 full floors. A total of 7 apartments.

Does the property management know about the crack? In my opinion, they have to take care of it if there are concerns about the structural integrity.

I also do not know whether the property management is informed about the crack.

When it comes to cracks, it is not the length but the depth that matters. Here, it is only the plaster on both the inside and outside.

If the crack is visible on both sides of the wall and runs in the same way, it is likely that it runs through the masonry. So the complete opposite of "not deep".
