BEG EM - several planned, do all need to be carried out?

Hello everyone,

last year we made the following plan for renovating our house:

- New windows
- Sun protection
- Insulate basement ceiling
- Insulate top floor ceiling

For this, we applied for €60,000 of eligible measures in a bundled application under the BEG individual measures.

Now the plan has changed and instead of the top floor ceiling, we will do the entire roof, but we will not do any sun protection.

Question: Do all the applied individual measures have to be carried out, or can we, for example, simply omit the sun protection and still receive the funding? With the roof + windows alone, we will exceed €60,000 anyway and might possibly do the basement ceiling ourselves.

Unfortunately, I cannot reach anyone at BAFA except the voicemail, and our energy consultant is not available either :(

You didn’t apply for the roof at all and therefore didn’t get it approved?

This, in turn, can probably be changed with an informal application (says the energy consultant) or achieved through a new TPB (says the BAFA).

Here is some information from an energy consultant portal on the topic, which says roughly the same:

"If it concerns the eligible costs, you can have them changed in the first month after the notification of the grant award by submitting a written request to the BAFA. If other points need to be changed, this is often possible with an informal and signed letter, which you upload in the BAFA portal. For example, funding priorities can be shifted or measures added retroactively (with changed costs only within the 4-week objection period). If the funding priority changes, a new technical project description (TPB) from your energy consultant may also be necessary."
