Bauhaus villa on a hillside, floor plans for 5 people

We are not installing the elevator yet, there is only a shaft planned in case one will ever be needed. We use the shaft on every floor as a storage room...

The children are going to get a climbing wall, so why not a fireman's ladder? Storage room vs. ladder... ask the kids

I would plant inside the tree you need to bring the fireplace up to temperature :-P

The recess is one of those architect ideas to make the facade look nice or something like that...

The recess itself, sure. But the fact that it does not start at a floor transition, but about 1m above – so probably in the air space above the "climbing hall" – made me think of its use as a chicane there.

Ha the bottle sculpture still has to go on the roof!!

Do you have access to the garden or a balcony from the living/upper floor? From the living floor, we have “only“ a side access toward the slope via the balcony to the garden, which still feels unusual to me, I’m still struggling with it. How does it feel for you?

How it feels, I can’t say yet... In the attica we have two terraces, living floor the possibility to open the window front - at least partially - in the children's floor also side exits. It's the downside of the hillside property, but the view is right; I think, especially in summer, we will probably spend a lot of time in the basement alone because of the temperature
