We had the door included in the carpenter package, so I don’t really know. In the rooms with extra height, like the entry area, we have a barn door as a divider to the children’s cloakroom, but otherwise most doors are ceiling-high. Also, we have a few sliding doors, which you don’t even see when they are open. Thank you... The kids were allowed to choose themselves, the walls are painted with magnetic paint and the floors are made of liquid cork; they were practically poured in.

I already knew it as a flooring before, friends of ours installed cork in the children's rooms 10 years ago, but that was laid and you could also see the cork pattern. Liquid cork is apparently the new must-have as flooring in hospitals, kindergartens, and nursing homes here, because it has a pleasant feel, sound-insulating, and is robust. I'll report if I ever move in someday ... My daughter is doing gymnastics; she already tried front flips and backflips on it in the basement and thinks the floor is great.

Thanks for the answer! I thought that the basket floor covering always looks rough with "holes" and in wood color. Did you paint over it? Your floor looks so nice, smooth and shiny. Could you please tell me where I could find something like that? Thanks in advance!
