Built a house last year with structural glass in the front door, the door to the living room, and bathroom windows. All in the same design. I believe the builder is very satisfied and not dark at all!
I have the lower half with decorative glass, but it is a floor-to-ceiling window on the upper floor. That helps quite a bit and looks stylish. And as a tip, it really doesn’t have to be Satinato. There are a variety of decorative glasses.

I can well understand that. Does it take away the light? Do you get the feeling of "frosted glass"?
