Quick feedback again. Thanks @nordenney especially, I was able to apply your contribution perfectly to the case. After I pointed out my financial framework and, after two more emails, the actual applicability of the HOAI, the amount to be paid was reduced by 25%, so my indication of €160,000 was accepted. It was also admitted that there was probably a lack of communication, which normally should take place after each service phase. Thanks again for the hints and especially the explanations regarding the HOAI.

Hello everyone,

unfortunately I need your advice again, as the whole matter is not yet finished.
In our building application, a relocation of our staircase by 180° was also included, basically from ascent on the left to ascent on the right.

This is how the building application was submitted by the architect.

So far so good, today I received an offer from the architect.
He said he can only make a statement about the static calculations after payment of xxxx€.

Shouldn't this be covered by service phase 3, since the building application was submitted by him in this way?

Thank you for the clarification.

At least in NRW, the structural analysis is not relevant for building approval.
